Bugs Bunny At The Symphony
Warner Bros. Discovery presents "Bugs Bunny at the Symphony". This critically acclaimed concert, conceived by George Daugherty and David Ka Lik Wong, is an incredible production that has been sold out for over 30 years in major concert halls around the world, and finally arrives in Rome during the centenary of Warner Bros.
Over 16 classic LOONEY TUNES with protagonists. Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd (Taddeo), Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner (Beep Beep), Sylvester, Tweety (Titti), and their exuberant companions will be screened on the big screen, while the iconic original soundtracks by Carl Stalling and Milt Franklyn, inspired by Wagner, Rossini, J. Strauss, Liszt, Smetana, von Suppé, Mendelssohn, Ponchielli, Tchaikovsky and Donizetti, will be performed live, in perfect sync with the images, by the more than 70 musicians of the Italian Cinema Orchestra directed by George Daugherty.
The second edition of the Roma Film Music Festival (30 September-8 October 2023) opens with a crackling event in premiere for Italy suitable for all ages: to relive the golden times of cartoons and their childhood, and to bring young people closer to the great classical music. With a smile.
