A dark elf against cynicism. Bigio talks about Drizzit’s art, storytelling and society with Percy Bertolini

Is being competitive, machist, challenger, aggressive, contemptuous, vulgar, greedy, shameless, exclusionary and opportunistic the only way to establish yourself in the comic industry? Multifaceted artists, self-ironic, prone to parody, non incasellabili, authentic and disinterested to please the public, Bigio and Percy have both depopulated thanks to spontaneous word of mouth and both make use of the grotesque, overturn the canons, work on stereotypes. Ten years after the first strip of Drizzit and on the occasion of the launch of the deluxe edition of the saga that made Bigio an author of thousands of copies, the two will discuss irony, comedy, satire, social criticism, of relationships, the search for a style and the problems connected with the work that happened to them.
