Romics on display: Happy birthday Creamy Mami!

The exceptional exhibition dedicated to Creamy Mami and the works of the extraordinary illustrator Akemi Takada, a unique event that celebrates the enchanted world and the timeless magic of this beloved animated series, which this year celebrates 40 years! A universe where fantasy comes to life, where music and magic come together in a symphony of emotions and adventures.
World-renowned artist Akemi Takada, with his beautiful illustrations, has captured the hearts of entire generations around the world, and in this exhibition we travel through his extraordinary talent in bringing to life the iconic characters of Creamy Mami. His works take us to the heart of history, where the young Yu Morisawa discovers the power to transform into the enchanting Creamy Mami.
Sensei Takada makes us discover the essence of the characters and the nuances of their personalities through its distinctive trait and the boards that have fascinated generations of fans. The first section of the exhibition consists of beautiful illustrations chosen personally by Sensei among her works.
The second section then takes us directly into the world of animation, with an extraordinary collection of 28 seven animation that show us the most beloved characters.  The seven are in fact the studies of the characters, in their maximum expressiveness, in which the Character Designer determines their expressions, appearance, clothing and so on, so that they are a reference for all the animators who will work on the characters.  In exhibition the settei of the Takada realized to the times of the working of the anime. Then we find Creamy Mami, Yu, the tender Posi and Nega, the parents of Yu, Megumi/ Duenote, Toshio, but also Shingo Tachibana/ Jingle Pentragramma, the cute Kidokoro and Bino. 

In these works we can appreciate the splendid synthesis and the maximum expressiveness given to all the characters by Takada’s pencil. The seven are made available, courtesy, by Studio Pierrot.
