Draw the Super Heroes! Comic demonstration lesson (6-13 years)

Il Centro per il libro e la lettura, on the occasion of the Domenica di Carta 2023 announced by the Ministry of Culture, presents Sunday 8 October (10.30-12.30) at its headquarters (Via Pasquale Stanislao Mancini, 20 - Rome) a free demonstration lesson on comics for young people (6-13 years), by the  Scuola Romana dei Fumetti  and in collaboration with Romics - International Festival of Comics, Animation, Cinema and Games (5-8 October).

The Draw the Superheroes appointment! , included in the calendar of events Romics OFF, revolves around the theme of "superheroes", characters symbol of comics and mythological charm, which with their masks and their powers have also conquered the cinema, cartoons and video games. Effective and comprehensive language and at the same time recreational and fun activity, the comic is an ideal means of expression for boys. But above all the teaching of techniques will go through play, animation and active participation. It is an opportunity for young people to express their imagination through an engaging and formative experience.

The event will also take place simultaneously online, but the link for participation will be sent only to those booked.

Scuola Romana dei Fumetti 
Founded in 1993 by Giancarlo Caracuzzo (Dupuis, Marvel), Paolo Morales (Bonelli, storyboard artist), Massimo Rotundo (Bonelli, Delcourt), Stefano Santarelli (Cartoni RAI, Bonelli) and Massimo Vincenti (Cartoni RAI, Bonelli)Over the years, a group of Roman authors, screenwriters and designers from a wide range of backgrounds have played an important role, both in the field of training and in cultural promotion and editorial production.

Over time, the initial group was joined by many successful alumni in the field of comics, film animation and video games. They then became, in turn, teachers and in some cases, members of the SRF. Generations, styles and professions have thus mixed, leading projects have been created: from The Great Greek Myths to Comics by Luciano De Crescenzo (Mondadori/De Agostini), to the cartoon series Ulisse - My Name Is Nobody (RAI2, Kineo/Diamanti Prize at the Venice Film Festival 2012).
