Romics XXXI: Join the Self Area!
The place dedicated to self-production!
Romics opens the door to self-production of comics, illustrations, card games and role-playing games, with the intent to bring to the general public those original productions that is not easy to meet elsewhere.
The Self Area of Romics is a space for direct meetings with the public, for the exchange of ideas, images, narration and experiences among professionals.
Two large spaces dedicated to designers, collectives and independent illustrators: in the large pavilion of role-playing games a Self Play Area dedicated to those who self-produce card games, board games and role-playing games; instead, in the heart of Comics City, Romics space dedicated to comics, the Self Area Comics will see the participation of all the realities related to the world of comics.
Within the area is allowed to exhibit and sell books and comic books self-produced, art books, original drawings, original works or self-produced sketches, promote or present comic stories not yet edited that will then be self-produced and any merchandising related to self-production and/ or original designs.
In the selection will be preferred the own productions and who has proposed original products; we very much hold that the self area is mainly focused on personal productions and not mainly fanart, but these are clearly admitted together with self-production.
